Music Photography Series

Music is a major part of people’s lives. For many, music is the soundtrack of their lives. I recently visited Light Rail Studios to help set the stage for my upcoming Music Photography Series. My goal with this series to capture the stories behind the music. While some may say that it’s been done before, I disagree. This series will capture the emotions and stories of the people who not only perform the music but those who listen to it.

Surroundings

One’s surroundings truly affect emotions. How does a rustic recording studio impact the performers? Is the audience capable of picking up on the artist’s emotions? These and other questions will be focused throughout the series as well.

Sound And other senses

What one may hear another may hear differently. Our senses while the same, are all different. Various factors are taken into consideration on how we hear and feel things that are around us. This series will also explore that aspect of music.

stories

We’ve all got a story to tell, music helps tell that story. What is your life’s soundtrack? What do you feel when you hear a certain melody? Can you see the melody? What do you remember? The series will also explore the story aspect of music and how it affects the artist and the audience.
